Veteran Ventures Capital Named as Finalist in This Year’s ACG Corporate Growth Awards

Veteran Ventures Capital (“Veteran Ventures”) has been named a finalist in the 21st Annual Corporate Growth Awards by the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) National Capital Region. Each year, ACG National Capital commemorates the previous year’s most impressive deals and highlights the dealmakers, investors, and corporate leaders that make the region a hotbed for corporate growth and deal activity. Veteran Ventures was selected amongst a pool of accomplished Private Equity and Venture Capital firms as one of three finalists in the “Deal Team: Growth Equity or Venture Capital Firm of the Year” category, joining Blue Delta Capital Partners and PROOF VC. Winners will be announced at the ACG Awards Gala on June 8th at The Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner.

“It is an honor for our team to be selected as a finalist in this year’s Deal Team awards category. Veteran Ventures deal flow team and investment committee have worked hand-in-hand towards identifying and negotiating terms with best-in-class, high growth, dual-use technology businesses, delivering exceptional value to VVC Veterans Fund I Limited Partners (LPs) and Micro-Fund investors,” said Derren Burrell, Founder and Managing Partner of Veteran Ventures. “Our team’s expertise and experience in the national security dual-use technology space is compounding the value we provide to each company, and in turn, our investors. Our portfolio companies have been awarded $17.3M in non-dilutive government funding, receiving a nearly 3:1 match in capital from our initial investments.”
